“My Dearest Nemesis” centers on Baek Su Jeong, a driven team leader, and Ban Ju Yeon, her new boss, who she recognizes as her online gaming nemesis from 16 years prior. Baek Su Jeong is an assertive and professional team leader at a department store, who remembers her embarrassing first love, “Black Dragon,” from her online gaming days.
She must now navigate her professional life while dealing with the resurfacing of those past feelings and the comedic tension with her new boss. She is very competent, and has a strong sense of pride.
Ban Ju Yeon is a third-generation chaebol and Baek Su Jeong’s new boss, who conceals his past online persona as “Black Dragon.” Their interactions are filled with tension and humor, as their past and present collide. He is trying to uphold the image of a chaebol, while also dealing with his past.
